Now that Google is removing reviews for 'review gating' it would be interesting that there was a customizable message for low star ratings. There, we could give the option for both support and going ahead and posting a review. According to a known expert, this would not infringe Google rules.

Will this allow customers to communicate directly with the business to tell them why they are leaving a low rating and to suggest what the business can do to make things right and get a better rating?

Great idea.
