AppSumo have a deal on at the moment for an app that does video testimonials. Please confirm that Endorsal will be adding this feature soon and save us Endorsal fans some money! :)
So early Q3 2020 would be now(ish), right? Any updates on this feature @Dean? Are we looking at a little longer yet? Maybe the ziggeo API would be appropriate to implement here - appsumo.com/ziggeo/
Look at this Video Testimonial app currently being offered on AppSumo, www.videopeel.com
If you can provide the ability to record from users cams or smartphone cameras directly into the Endorsal submission form that would be brilliant. I'm not buying VideoPeel because you've planned this in the hopes you will achieve this level of functionality for collecting video testimonials. good luck!

Are we able to create the video testimonials with endorsal just like videopeel that is currently running on appsumo, or do we need other tools to create and host the videos and can only link to videos source inside endorsal? Thanks.
You may want to gain some insight on what videopeel is doing with their video testimonial software, perhaps you can work some of their well throughout ideas into Endorsal.
Dean, Look to VideoPeel as a cool way to implement this feature. They are currently on Appsumo. Nothing to download or sign up for, no app required. Just a link the customer clicks to record their video testimonial.
The owner/developer says they have an API and are willing to work with other companies. Maybe save yourself some coding headaches and partner up with their technology.
As long as it's still free for us lifetimers :-)
Hi, this would be a dynamite feature. Did you know there is a new deal on AppSumo called VideoPeel that does this. If you could add it to Endorsal then you're really beating the competition. Will you design this feature so the client can record directly from their webcam and have their testimonial captured by Endorsal? Or will they have to figure out how to record it themselves and attach a video? If you can do the first option, that would be great. Here's the other deal: appsumo.com/videopeel
This is a must have feature. The ability to collect video testimonials easily from people would not only enhance the quality of the testimonials but also the conversion rates of the product. Please please please get this one in as soon as you can! Thanks!
Yes it would be amazing if it was frictionless for someone to give a video testimonial. What I'm picturing is a button someone can press and it will instantly open up their camera on their phone or computer so they can record and upload effortlessly.
This will be sooo exciting! We have a bunch of testimonials that we already HAVE video testimonials for, so it makes it SO easy to integrate in! I can't wait!

I'm already discouraged! until now, nothing! that was the most important thing, a pity to have to leave the endorsal tool for another.

Plzzzzz
I sincerely hope this is still moving forward
I hope as well! can't wait for it
Yes!! Can’t wait!
Something like what Boast.io offers
It should work in a way that makes it as easy as clicking a button for the reviewer, then this would be lights out!
Thinking of signing up to Boast but no need if you get this launched.
Q3 is a long ways away... would love if this came sooner. It's crucial for us.
We're hoping to have this feature soon.
Hello, it's been 4 months - any news here? Hoping we can get it BEFORE Q3 2020...
very important
It could be good also to add the Audio Testimonials Features as well. Because a lot of people are uncomfortable with video, and prefer audio.
True!
This is absolutely critical! Thank you. Hoping this will happen very soon.
Super important!
VIDEO TESTIMONIALS FEATURE ? WHEN CAN WE EXPECT .. EAGER TO STAKE 5 CODES , WHEN DOES LTD EXPIRES IN ENDORSAL.IO/LTD
Really looking forward to this feature
Video testimonials are the most powerful, this will be a fantastic addition to Endorsal.

This is definitely something I would like to see in the product. Video testimonials are so much more powerful than text.

Woohoo!!! You guys rule!
YES! Especially if the user can quickly record that testimonial in-browser!
Any idea when this will be released?
Dean Walton
Video testimonials is a feature that'll be available to all plans including AppSumo lifetime deals.
Hope this feature will be pushed out sooner. If possible to unload the videos to our storage service as well. S3, Dropbox, Gdrive ... etc
Might this be included in your Appsumo offering?
